Can i use a smaller battery in my car, 650 CCAs where 770 is called for in Summer?
I took the Alt/Batt/Car (Car running) to Autozone to test it
Had 12.32 Volts (A little low, yes? I can try it with the other battery i have tomorrow.... My battery passed the test, but will having a SMALLER battery in there with simal power.. 650 CCAs, 810 Normal, RC 95 vs 700 CCAs, Normal 875, RC 120.. Car calls for "770CCAs" and its NOT Winter.. is this Battery OK? Its from 10/09 not 01/06, and i only added a LITTLE Water to it...)
Test was "Diode PASS, Reg FAIL" <--- WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
Also, the other battery is newer and Stronger, i wonder if it si Ok to use the Smaller battery, i will give it a Slow Charge just in case....

Belt was replaced AC Compressor removed, NEW Belt put on, Alternator Still in car failed, will install XJS Alternator tomorrow..
