Computer question! somethings wrong with my computer's security!
I am usually very goo with computers, but I can't figure this one out. My granmother called me over to help her with her computer, and I dont know whats wrong. She has "sympatico security manager" to help with fire walls and stuff, and apperantly she pays for it. but when she goes into the start menu and clicks on it, the little flashlight thing comes up for a misssing shorcut, but, no one unistalled it or anything. does any one know whats wrong? cause currently her computer is unprotected and, im sure it isn't a good thing.
Is it symantec security manager ?
The previous installation may not be done properly or your grandmother may have remove the folder. I suggest that you find the CD and reinstall the program.
