first soccer game this week, its rec girls and boys 12-13...im really scared! HELP i have some questions!?
okay i have my first soccer game this week (thursday) and its co-ed 12-13 year old. im a girl and this is my first year playing soccer. im really scared and im afraid of heading the ball and sort of some trapping it. im not very agressive but i think i would be a mid fielder. what do they have to do? and do defense have to head and trap the ball alot? and for forwards could you be one and get the ball then pass it to another foward ALL THE TIME... so please help me???? im really scared.
Midfielders defend as well as they attack. They typically make the passes to the forward for the goals. The defense stops the opposing forward from scoring. If they are under pressure they just kick the ball away from the area as fast as possible. Forwards could pass the ball to other forwards but if they have a shot for goal they should take it. They should pass the ball when it is best to, like the other the forward is open. If you are playing with people who do not know how to play then you are probably going to get kick in the legs a lot. Don't worry you will get a feel for the game after a while of playing it. This is your first time so you are not going to be perfect.
