2001 ford focus idle air speed motor?
my focus has a rough idle. iv changed plugs and wires. it is not the egr, iv repaced the depfe sensor and still it runs rough. while driving the car runs great but idles like shit. could it be the IAS motor?

Also, Chevron's gasoline contains a patented "Techron" fuel additive that really keeps the engine intake, valves, injectors etc cleaner if you use it over a period of time. They sell it as Techron Concentrate in the auto parts stores.

I removed my IAC motor on my Fords and sprayed carb cleaner into the open ports. Then shake vigorously and empty the junk out of it. Reinstall.
