Inserting Xenon White lights in 2005 Cadillac CTS?
Is there any possibility that I could put 100 Watt 5900K bulbs in low beam socket because the regular driving 80 watt 5900K bulbs (low beam) are not enough? So, instead of 80 watt bulbs, can I put 100 watt bulbs there?
The wiring and headlamp assembly were not designed to handle the extra heat from such a high-watt bulb. One thing you could do is a wiring harness upgrade with relays, so there is more power going to your OE bulbs. I did this on my car and I was very impressed with the increased light output, and no worries about melting my headlights.
